Overview and Specs Of The WetFlame E Cig Starter Kits
WetFlame E Cig #1 – the WetFlame
In it’s simplistic, 2-piece design, the kr808-1 style e-cig is perfect for the beginning e-cig user. The functioning device consists of nothing more than a disposable, easy-to-install cartomizer and the rechargeable battery.
WetFlame offers a great Starter Kit for the model that is currently on sale for $89.99 and includes: 2 mega-batteries, 6 cartomizers (flavor and strength are up to you), a USB Charger, Wall Charger and a carrying case.
In terms of options and flavors, WetFlame offers both pre-filled and blank cartomizers. The pre-filled cartomizers require nothing more than a quick hook-up to the battery before you’re puffing away, but the blank cartomizers allow you to manually flavor them with WetFlame’s famous e-liquids. Both the pre-filled carts and e-liquids come in the same flavor options: tobacco, menthol, vanilla, coffee, and tutti frutti.
WetFlame E Cig #1 – the WetFlame NOVA
On the flip side, the Nova model is WetFlame E Cigs’s current 510 style e-cig, a top-quality, proven and in my testing exceptionally reliable and well performing three-piece e cig consisting of battery, atomizer and cartridge. The difference here is that there is an atomizer and a cartridge rather than a singular cartomizer piece as in the model. This means that cartridges can be refilled without having to dispose of the atomizer-the vaporizing mechanism-each time a cartridge is used up. However this 3-piece model can be less convenient to refill than the ’s blank cartomizers, as well as requiring more care and making some annoying e-liquid messes.
The Nova Starter Kit runs for $69.99 and includes 2 mega batteries (manual power, unlike the ’s automatic), 2 atomizers, 5 prefilled cartridges (you choose flavor), a USB charger, a wall charging adapter, a WetFlame 5mL Bottle of E-Liquid and a carrying case.
The Nova uses the same WetFlame flavors as the but only in e-liquid form as it isn’t cartomizer-compatible.

What I Liked About the WetFlame
Refillable Blank Cartomizers
It is rare to see a brand that offers e-liquids and blank cartomizers for 2-piece models such as the type WetFlame offers for the . The simplicity of refilling the blank cartomizers really makes using WetFlame e-liquid worthwhile, it’s genius to offer the flavor and vapor benefits of e-liquid without the typical hassle.
Style and Trendiness
It may seem irrelevant, but isn’t opening gifts sometimes better than having the gift the day after? The comes in slick packaging, creating an experience from the moment your kit comes in the mail. Add into the equation the overall sleek design of the device and the fact that their logo is printed on individual cartomizers and it really becomes clear; the WetFlame is modernity and trendiness in e-cig form!
What I Liked About the Nova

I am MORE than well aware of the refrain that goes on left-right and center in the marketing of most e cigarettes. It always goes something like: 3-Piece BAD 2-Piece GOOD
While there is an element of truth to the message, it overly simplifies things as some of the absolute best e cig models ever are still 3-Piece units (like the 510 specifically – which Wetflame’s NOVA has evolved from and is compatible with).
As a big fan of customization and freedom in my e-cig experience, I have to say that the ability to reuse atomizers and fill cartridges with the e-liquid of my choosing really make this model a joy to own. Not to mention that the entire experience of figuring out how to best fill the cartridge, how to prevent flavor lag when switching and everything that comes with using a 3-piece model are what make the Nova model a personal experience.
Wetflame E Cig’s NOVA Offers Perfect Compatability With 510 Cartomizers and More, Making it an Expandable Choice To Suit Your Preferences.
As an added consideration, while the main unit is a “3-piece” e-cigs have developed with some many accessories and add-ons, many phenomenal, that let a “3-piece” be a “2-piece” – using 510 cartomizers or clearomizers or tanks or tankomizers…. the list goes on and options are many.
I DO suggest that WetFlame offer some of these other options, in particular the 510-T tank atomizers and refill tanks now available. During my testing I confirmed that these work perfectly with the WetFlame NOVA’s batteries, exceptionally well due to their quality build and long length (physically and in battery charge duration!).

What I Like about WetFlame In General
Quality E-Liquids
WetFlame has a small but potent collection of e-liquids that have impressed the e-cig population in recent years. Their flavors really pack a punch, especially when you get up to the 24mg strength liquid and the massive vapor plumes it creates. WetFlame e-liquids and the ability to use them in both models are really where this brand shines.
Batterly Life/Different Types of Batteries
Both Starter Kits comes with what WetFlame calls “long-lasting batteries”. As much as this sounds like a lame attempt at marketing, they are not joking. It’s not that these batteries are cutting edge, they’re just perfectly sized for optimum battery life without disrupting the feel of the e-cig as you puff on it. The engineers over at WetFlame did a nice job with figuring out one of the best voltage per dimension batteries that I’ve seen.
Not only do both models come with top of the line batteries, but they each come with a different type of battery. The automatic battery in the really helps create a simplistic, transitory experience for beginning smokers while the manual battery in the Nova gives seasoned users their desired power over their puff. However it is still a mystery to me why WetFlame didn’t offer automatic and manual batteries for both models. If they are going to offer an e-liquid option for their 2-piece model, why not allow customization over the battery power too?
Things I Didn’t Particularly Love With WetFlame’s E Cig Offerings:
Pricing Scheme
At $89.99, the model runs a little high for a kr808-1 starter kit. There are other options out there that offer similar quality devices and equal technologies for a bit cheaper. I suppose that money is found in the extras; the e-liquid options, the mega batteries and the overall nice feeling that comes from using it. Hard to describe, but beginners shouldn’t be scared off by the price tag, there are definitely benefits to paying over the market average here. The WetFlame e-liquids alone are enough incentive to spend the extra money because that liquid is some of the best I’ve ever puffed on!
As for you e-cig alumni, I can recommend the Nova model without thinking twice. The 510 model is great for filling your own cartridges and the WetFlame store offers a ton of great accessories that make it easier than you’re used to.
